ABB (スイス） ABBは、ブラジル国内における5番目の新工場が正式に稼働開始したと発表した。新工場はサンパウロ州ソロカーバに位置し、技術開発ならびに生産能力の拡張、及び、石油化学工業、紙工業、鉱業、石油・天然ガス開発、エネルギー開発事業からの国内需要増加に対応する為、約2億米ドルを投資し建設されたもの。
Andritz VA TECH Hydro（オーストラリア） Andritzは、アンゴラ共和国、 Kwanza川に建設される新規Lauca水力発電所向けに、電動機械装置の供給に係る契約を獲得した。同水力発電所に建設予定の2棟の発電所(power house)向けに、6基のフランシス・タービン(各340MW級)と発電機及び付随する設備を納入する。納入は、Construtora Norberto Odebrecht社(南米最大のエンジニアリング企業、Odebrecht社のエンジニアリング・建設事業に関わる企業)を通じ、GAMEK(Gabinete de Aproveitamento do Medio Kwanza)社へ向け行われる。
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited（インド） バーラト重電機(BHEL)は、Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL：インド、パンジャーブ州政府の電力会社)より、パンジャーブ州ガーダスプールにおける206MW級水力発電プロジェクト向けに、電動機械装置の供給に係る契約(約32億1000万インドルピー)を獲得した。これにより同社は、水力発電装置の設計、資材調達、供給、設置及び試運転を行う。本プロジェクトにおいて、Ranjit Sagarダムの下流、Shahpurkandi BarrageからMadhopur headworksを流れる運河に、7基の水力発電装置を含む2棟の発電所(power house)が建設される。
Tecnicas Reunidas（スペイン） Tecnicas Reunidasは、バングラデシュ国営企業、Ashuganj Power Station Company Ltd (APSCL)より、バングラデシュ国内、Ashuganjにおける新規天然ガスコンバインドサイクル発電所(380MW級)建設プロジェクトにおけるEPC及びスタートアップに係る主契約者であるTSK社と共に、コンソーシアムのリーダーとして選出された。本プロジェクトは、ターンキー契約で契約額は約3億米ドルに相当する。APSCLは2012年中頃よりエネルギー開発プロジェクトを開始しており、既に1,000MW相当の発電所を設置している。
